Default Books and value question

I am not really a collector of books and don't know about values, but have fallen heir to three 16 X 11 1/4, books, (The Ford Factory, The Ford Show, The Open Cars), one 11 X 8 3/4, (The Ford Road) two 11 1/4 X 9 (Fords Forever and The Classy V8). There is also a 11 1/4 X 8 3/4 Sears Roebuck and company, 100th Anniversary. All these books are by Loren Sorenson and the first four he has signed. They appear to me to have a leatherette cover or possibly it is leather. Brown with gold lettering. Anyone have any idea of value here? I am entrusted to sell them and the income goes to Henry's A's a branch of mafca. If you know of a better way of finding what they are worth, let me know that also. If I am out of line asking here, let me know that also.
Thanks again for your valued assistance.

Books signed by the author (or one of the principles) sort of puts them in a league of their own.

I have "Discovery" a book written by Richard E. Byrd, and apparently bought by my Grandmother who had a habit of going to book sales in Boston. Signed by Byrd, the book is worth perhaps $175. Unsigned would be $25.

Check out www.abebooks.com who can be searched "price high to low" to see what signed copies of your books might sell for.

And then expect a bit less.
