Default Transmission Question

I am planning a club "Colonial Virginia Battlefield Tour" of approximately 25 miles that has a speed limit of 15 mph. The tour route is heavily patrolled and speed limit strictly enforced. We will be stopping for only several minutes at a time to read Historical Markers located about 2-3 miles apart.

Question: Is there any chance that Model "A" transmissions would be damaged by driving only 15 mph in second gear for prolonged periods of time?

Thanks for your information, recommendations and advice.

I have a feeling these cars spent a lot of time at 15 mph when they were new.

Patrick,
Long ago, had a neighbor with a Model A with NO hood sides----He idled in home from the bar about 2:00 A.M. most every night, as not to wake Chief & his shotgun! The idle speed was JUST right to make his old 2 blade fan sound like, PLOP-PLOP-PLOP-PLOP, just like a Piper Cub propeller at low idle!

In 1929 the speed limit in the downtown business district was 15MPH, 20MPH for residential areas and when you left the "big" city you could drive....wait for it.....35 MPH! These speeds are right out of a highway patrol code book!
