batteries
Optima or over the counter lead acid? Are there options with the Optima? I see venders that advertise them for about (+ or -) $175.00 while the local O'Reily's is saying less. Amazon about $116.00, w/free shipping, which is less than the lead acid at some venders. Are there different sizes of 6V Optima batteries? If so, what is the proper number for a Model A?

Re: batteries
It has been presented here on Fordbarn that the new optima batteries are nowhere near as good as they once were.

Re: batteries
I find the Optima's superior over any other choice. This was a thread on here not long ago. May want to go back and check that thread.....
Yes, Amazon has by far the best pricing on the 6 volt delivered and what I have bought 2x and with great success. some swear by them and some dont like them, and as Mike said, there is the opinion that the quality has dropped, though not my experience. one size 6 volt.......... |
