Opinions on Lester Tires Please?
I am considering purchasing a set of Lester Tires for my '30 from Lucas Classic Tires. My car currently has Lester tires and I like the look, however, the tires are over 20 years old. I would appreciate any feedback from people who have used or considered purchasing these tires. Thanks

Re: Opinions on Lester Tires Please?
They have a $65 blackwall that some have purchased. They are nylon but are a value for 1/2 the price of many other brands. I know 2 guys who have purchased them and are happy. they wanted to save as much as possible. Others say that one get what one pays for - just a matter of choice.

I ran lesters on my 36 truck and I loved them. They were really quiet on the road and very smooth. I am all for them.

Re: Opinions on Lester Tires Please?
My only objection to Lesters is that they appear to be smaller in outside diameter to other brands. This holds true for the 17"s currently on my '34 Ford. Too much of the inner fender well is exposed for my liking. However, they seem durable and provide an adequate ride.

Re: Opinions on Lester Tires Please?
Everyone I know, who had Lesters on their cars, love them. I haven't heard of any problems with them. As a matter of fact, I'm considering buying Lesters to replace the Firestones on my '30 coupe.
