Grease fitting for clutch shaft
I have seen/heard of putting in a grease fitting in the bellhousing for the clutch shaft for a Model A, but has anyone ever done it on a V8? I was just wondering if it is worth the time and effort. It looks like the casting is a little thinner on the V8 bellhousing too, but I didn't have them side by side either. Any thoughts/opinions? Thanks for the input.

Re: Grease fitting for clutch shaft
I'm confused. My 36 and my 39 trans both have grease fittings for the clutch shaft.

Re: Grease fitting for clutch shaft
'32 thru '34 transmission cases didn't have grease fittings whereas '35 and up had them. I just put a pair in a '34 case. I used the fittings with 1/4-28 threads. Worked out nicely.

Re: Grease fitting for clutch shaft
Sorry for the confusion, I didn't know that 35 and up had grease fittings for the clutch shaft. I also should have mentioned that it is for a '34.
