Default Side Mount Tire

I am in the process of mounting a spare on the drivers side of my 29 pickup. I have the tire mounted to the arm and the top tips toward the car. Is this normal?

no that is not normal. will the tire stand straight up before you put the lug nuts on. it could be the arm is bent.

The arm does not look bent but it could be an aftermarket arm. Does anyone have the angle that the arm should be? I could heat the arm and bend it but it would also lower the arm. Could someone with an angle finder let me know what the angle should be? Thanks Larry
