Default Rear main oil drain pipe size

Pulled the pan on the 48 V-12 in search of source for low oil pressure. Find lots of oil on everything, but the drain pipe on the rear main is missing. Anyone have an idea of what size pipe is needed? I suppose it would be best if pipe reached into oil sump.
The engine has a Ford rear seal, slinger groves are ground off crankshaft. Engine also has a PCV valve on top catching vapors under intake and routing to carb base.
Thanks

I think it is 1/8" pipe. There is a load of oil that comes down out of
the top of a V-12. I turned one over with 12 volts to the starter with
the spark plugs out and the pan off. I had a can of oil feeding into
the top end. They also have a problem of loosing oil pressure at the
relief valves up in the front of the valve valley and in the oil pump.
When it looses a little oil pressure the lifters start singing a tune. G.M.

I am not sure of Lincolns, the early oil return pipes do not extend into the pan very much. There is a possibility of then touching the oil pump. The early V8, 21 stud engine oil return is about 4" long, the 38-42 is only about 2" long see below. They both vary in diameter. Suggest you look in a chassis parts book and come up with the part number. The basic Ford part number is 6326. Below is a photo of the short 38-42 Ford V8 return pipe. Care has to be used installing these pipes, in the rear main, since they can possibly block oil flow, in the rear main cap. The 4 Cyl returns were spot welded in place.
