I have seen complete set-ups e--- for about $1700.00 that are ready to go. There is another set-up that is a true power steering and you use their steering box which is made by Borgeson. I think with this set-up you will be over $1,000.00 just in parts and I don,t think you can run a manual trans. with it. As far as using the Ford P/S 1954-56 works and the pump and pump bracket needs to be those years to line up with the pulley and clear the inner fender. I hope this helps.

Another option is a 76-80 Granada set up. The CVA has a write up on installing it on a 54-56 Ford. Very similar to a stock set up.

Another Option: http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/35-e...-454530-2.html Picture below shows it installed in a 1953 Ford Customline. Nothing is added to the engine either so no pumps or hoses to deal with.

If I were to install P/S on a 55 today, I would go back to post 9 and read it twice.

My browser will not let me in to view it.

Does this swap also include GRANADA spindles?

Have been wondering...

Does this retro-fit have the needed strength to operate the heavier FORD steering linkage over time? Has anyone that installed this had any problem?
