Default Re: How to identify an original interior?

I am really glad I asked the question. I'm feeling even better about my car than before. I will take and add photos of the kick panels. I will also try to take and post some close-up photos of the entire interior but that may take awhile. One unfortunate thing is that the previous owner cut two holes in the panel area behind the front seat to install the seat belts and then decided to route them differently. Oh well, nothing is perfect. The body is very solid with no rust thtough or filled that I can find. It even has the original engine which matches the bill of sale. It has always been registered in NJ. I am the fourth owner.

Thanks again for all the information, suggestions, and compliments.

Here is what I found under the vinyl tuck and roll I replaced. Original cover or what was left of it.

All that from a corner of my seat? What was the clue the fabric or the springs?
If I ever have the money to do a frame off I plan on converting the car back to a standard coupe.
