Re: 36 convertible question.
I believe the vinyl sleeves are the spring covers. Good luck, RPM

Re: 36 convertible question.
Posted a reply to your questions on Bob Drakes pic and on the rear post earlier but apparently it never appeared, so will post again.
Drake's pic shows what appears to be both the bottom and top rubber seals for the center pillar post that fits between the front door and rear door window frames. One of the seal's part numbers is shown on the label. The seals were nailed on to the post (which has a wooden center section). Do not understand your rear post question. Lincoln. |

Re: 36 convertible question.
The top iron pads shown in the Drake illustration go on the ends of the folding top rails, the part the top irons attach to. As you start to fold down the top, take a look at the ends where they fold together and you will either see the old pads or the remains of the two screws that held the top pad to the top rail. I just finished replacing these of my 35 conv. sedan. I'll look and see if I have any good pics I can post of these installed.

Re: 36 convertible question.
It looks like you have a cabriolet, correct? The items in the Drake pic are for Conv Sedan. From the looking at numbers in the Body Parts book, these only go on the Conv Sedan. If you have a Carpenter catalog, look on page 160 for where they go. All I can add is look at the old pads and see if you can find something that matches.
