pulling 8ba in '53 Ford-done
Last week I posted regarding questions about pulling the engine in the '53. Several suggestions were posted. I decided to disconnect the block from the clutch housing, rather than disconnecting the housing from the transmission. The advice about using the two openings in the trans shield to access the screws at the top of the housing made it relatively easy. Thanks to all who offered suggestions.
Richard

Seth, I hadn't expected to be doing this again....I'm no spring chicken. That said, if the reinstallation goes well (following a rebuild by a very good builder) I'll be glad I did it!
All the best, richard
