Default Auction

A friend passed last year and his brother is having an auction. Not sure about posting the site and don't know how the online stuff works. A lot of farm related equipment. Some flathead related trucks, the flatheads on the ground have been under water. The wrecker is Marmon Herrington and the engine is a 53 Mercury. I've spent time in most of the vehicles, just didn't know if it was ok to post or where since it covers so many years. The highboy pickup was mine when it was 4 years old, the green triumph used to be mine. I restored the green and black triumphs after they went underwater for him. Hate to see all the stuff go for scrap.

I wouldn't see a problem with at least posting the date and location of the auction so we could find the listing and check it out.

Those are Lincoln or (more likely) F7 truck engines (337 ci).

The engines have been under water, one is from a Lincoln and other from an F7. I think the Lincoln one had a power steering pump removed but still had a bracket or 2 last I saw. The wrecker I have driven in the past and knew the Mercury the engine it came from. For those that doubt the high rpms of a flathead, been there listened to that.

I see a 55 Mercury Montclaire(sp) with a glass top. I don't know the correct name for it but I know enough to know that is very rear. I believe it was on page #7.
