Default Head leaking

Hi all, looking at buying a 31 coupe. Has a B engine it. I don’t know if it’s the diamond block or not. What concerns me is the presence of coolant on the left side of block. I think it has a model A head, and water pump. What do you guys think? I’m thinking it needs new head gasket? Thanks Fred

Before you do any dis-assembly, try re-torqueing the head nuts. JMO

The original style gaskets seeped some along the edges, it isn't abnormal. Retorque the head and you could add some AlumaSeal stop leak. Remember there wasn't "slippery" coolent when these cars were built.
