Spend thousands and countless hours restoring it,follow every detail, add a few performance goodies like a high compression head and overdrive..then set the whole thing on the cheapest rag tires you can buy..."but the tread is authentic"

You've just described the majority of Model T and A guys...can you believe they're adding STP (an engine oil additive) to their tranny and diff rather than spending a few $ more to buy a thicker gear oil. What is wrong with these people? As a come back they say "I've been doing it for 50 years"; well, you could fly to Europe in a Cessna but why would you choose to do that if you could also fly in a 787 Dreamliner? These guys will choose the Cessna time and time again.

Back in about 2013 when we couldn't buy a decent tube, the worst of the worst were made in the EU - one of the scandanavian countries, actually. HHMMMMM!

In the UK 4.75/5.00x19 or x21 by European Classic cost £132+20 vat ( sales tax) which is equivalent to 163$ + 20% sales tax... cry for us on this side of the pond!

That's surprising; made in Germany then shipped to USA and sold for only $105? Do they make any profit? Maybe not selling well in Europe and they just want to be rid of them?

Tread design is sort of like the Goodyear diamond tread but not nearly as nice.

Ah, sorry, you were referring to his comments. I see frustration in his comments (and mine too) but no rage. No anger at anyone.

Being ripped off by the EU again...I support a rock hard Brexit with a free trade agreement with the USA. Go Boris!

Over the past couple of years, the US has gained a reputation on the world scene for not abiding by agreements. Look how many treaties and agreements have been torn up. Why would the Brits want to go there? Not many of their trading partners from pre EU days want anything to do with them either after being treated the way they were so the Brits might find the going a little harder than they thought.
This thread is going perilously close to getting political! How did a set of tyres end up there?

The distribution center is in Germany according to their Web site. Nothing about where they are made.
Boris's hair seems more controlled. He taught English an Latin here at Timber Top on his gap year.
