Default 29 business coupe seat frame position

I am restoring a 29 business coupe and would like to know exactly where the seat frame is positioned. Does it fit tight against the seat riser or does it match up with the flange of the seat riser? If possible could you post a picture. Thanks

Bruce,
I am posting a picture of the original seat frame I installed in my 28 special coupe. Your 29 business coupe seat frame is the same. I found a decent original seat frame, which is better than the repros and also have the rivet holes already in them. I have an extra original seat frame I bought on eBay a couple years ago. I have a few more pictures of the seat frame I installed in my coupe, but the one posted shows it the best. If you need other pictures, PM me.

Hi Rusty.
Thanks for the picture. I have a repo one and one of the ears is shorter than the other and it does not sit square. Could you please measure from center of the small hole in the riser to the top rear of the seat frame so I can keep it square. Also what are the loops on the seat riser used for? Bruce Newbery. You can email me at [email protected]
