Default need help electrical

hello all i need sme help this is not a foed question but a 1935 ply question i am working on my father in laws 35 plym i have it back togeather an has beed running great the other day i drove it and when i turned it off it would not start a few days later it starts right up drive it rund grat turn it off will not start i cked the lights horn everytng all not working but car still turns over it has sat for a couple of hrs noe i have power to everything but will notm start cked points seems to have a week spark i will try tomorrow any ideas on why after it runs and will loose all power bur to starter the power comes back ofter it sits whay di i ck he came up from fla to sc to pick the car up

Could be a carburetor problem.

When it stops running check and see if the coil is hot/very hot.
