Default Original shocks on my 28 tudor

How many of you guys have rebuilt the original shocks and is it worth the time?
I just found a seal rebuild kit from Snyder's and was gonna give it a try because I love rebuilding the original parts on my car.
Just wanting to get any tips and hear your story.

Thanks.
