Movin' along.
Currently machining on an iron A block, that I hope to have running before Hershey, and I have cores ordered for the 2 aluminum block samples. Winfield core box is under way and maybe I could have one to put on the first running block. Lots to do and lots coming down the way. Days are way too short.

Re: Movin' along.
Dropped of some cores at the aluminum foundry today for the sample aluminum I intend to make. Progress is good.

Re: Movin' along.
Hi Tod,
I seem to remember seeing your videos and maybe a blog one day while I was bored at work. Any chance you could post a link? I have a background in machining and casting, having worked in machine shops and a foundry. I own a bunch of manual machines, and actually a backyard aluminum foundry myself. Sometimes the big old commercial equipment can be bought for pretty cheap, because no one has room for it.. but I do. Long story short, you have my interest.

Re: Movin' along.
Tod;
Thanks for the update. I am really looking forward to being able to have a good new block to use to build an engine. Today, I was dealing with an old original engine that looked good from the outside but is so rusty inside that I do not think there will be any material left after I get the water jackets cleaned out. New blocks will be a great help to the hobby. Thanks for all your efforts. Chris W. |

Re: Movin' along.
Tod,
I know you are working on several things. My simple brain can't keep them straight. At this point what items are you hoping to have available this year?

Re: Movin' along.
You likely have a very profitable customer base already... just waiting for a new unrepaired block.. Go Tod Go!
