Default I was wrong on fan hub I need 4 1/8 inch for 60HP

Hey folks. I've been looking for the wrong thing. I need a Ford part Number 73-8600 fan which has a 4 1/8" hub. I was going by what is on a 60HP at the V8 museum and several 60s I've inquired about on eBay. As I like to say, I'm often wrong but never in doubt. LOL I have also been corrected on end plates on starters and generators. I have been educated once again by the experts. End plates are black, not raw aluminum as I had thought. Live and learn.

The end plates you see that are not painted are more often than not NOS. Those were not painted. I believe many guys thank that as they are free of paint and NOS that's the way they came on the car from the assembly line.

Bill: The engine I am restoring is a 39 with the accessory/special commercial transmission attached so it came in a commercial vehicle in all likelihood. Lawson

The fan I need is a 4 blade. The one currently listed on ebay is not a 60HP fan. Just damn.
