Default New to The Model T

Hi,

Just wondering what is the best place to get parts for the Model T, currently looking for rear axle bearings at the wheel end.

Thanks

James

Hello from Sidney, B.C. James!
Here there are few original parts available, however quite a few years ago, I was lucky to meet an older Model T enthusiast from Nanaimo who had a large collection of parts.
I was able to purchase some original roller bearings for the rear end that I was re-building at the time.
I checked them with my micrometer and they were still well within limits.
There seems to be fewer and fewer original parts available, so hearing about the end of a major part supplier hurts a lot.

Regards,

Steve

James, I will check out the local T people to see if any may be available and will let you know.

I have heard that some of the new bearings available are not properly made and could lead to a dangerous situation.

Regards,

Steve

Thanks for the information Steve, I will have to dig into this bearing issue a little more I don't want to get into a dangerous situation.

Regards

James
