Default Early 1928 Instrument Panel...

The early 1928 gas tanks had a "notch" or a "groove" a the upper left corner of the instrument panel area to accomodate the electric windshield wiper for closed cars (but the tank was used for all vehicles).

That being the case then, did the Instrument Panel itself have a notch in the upper left corner to accomodate the wire?

The standards do not indicate this that I can find...just the notch in the tank.

Thanks.

Pluck

Steve..The early tank here at work(no date stamp) looks the same on both sides. Give me a location from the gas gauge. Dudley
