Would you suggest using Sea From cleaner to remove carbon?

how much carbon? you could use the old school solution. warm engine up and squirt water into the carb at about 1000 to 1500 rmp

I use kerosene for that trick. Pour some in until the engine starts to sputter, then jazz the throttle to get it running again; repeat a dozen times.

if its still running fill a spray with water/ metho solution [80/20] high idle 1200/1300 rpm and spray down carby about 1 quart should do the trick but depends on how much build up youve got
