Default Axle perch bolts 37-39

Can original type 37 axle perch bolt be purchased?
I’m rebuilding a 37 axle and I am having a hard time getting the perch pin bolt out. Thinking of leaving it in and painting it all together.
I will be using original shocks.

they can be a SOB to get out. most i've done required a press and some heat. i'm sure you can find used or nos replacements, perhaps new, but if only being removed to paint, i think i would leave it all together

Good advice. Unless you need to remove the pin for some reason leave it alone, paint it, and forget it.

If you want to remove the perches and want to save them. Remove the axle and arms and put it on a press (use a nut flush on it). Heat them, spray, and use a pipe wrench to turn them before the press. See if they turn a bit. Patience. Not sure anyone makes them and originals get gobbled up by A hotrodders.

Really nothing wrong with just painting them and installing. Only issue I can think if they a hollowed out and need to be sleeved.

I would leave them. If you must remove them, pulling works better than pushing. It is like the Chinese finger deal. I posted pictures of a puller on the HAMB, You would have to find a way to put a tab on them.
