Default Spray gun for touch up

Does any one have any suggestion's on a small touch up spray gun, I finally got the worm drive rear in our AA' came out very nice , I had the rear painted before install but we scratched it up in a few places and the truck frame also needs a little touch up also. We used a base coat clear coat, I would like to buy some type of touch up spray gun to do this job Thanks Billy I know I will have to a lot of taping

Unless you just love using a spray gun, go to Sherwin Williams or Lowe's and pick up a Preval spray system for a nice job and essentially low cost. It is reusable and easy to use on compressed air charge. No compressor necessary.

If you like a cheapie gun for what your doing, a Harbor Freight (jam gun) or touch up spray gun is about as cheap as you can get and still do nice work. Ace and even WalMart sell jam guns. You will need a compressor for this gun though. The hvlp guns there are almost as cheap and seem to work fine for our type of work project.

Good luck in your choice.

Sata makes a great Mini Touch up gun. Not cheap but it works like a full size top coat gun.

A cheep Airbrush from Harbor Freight, does an EASY job of touch up, with virtually NO masking. My Pin Striper Friend is a MASTER with one. He filled some black chips for me, a whisp of 3,000 grit sandpaper & polish & they were perfect.

I have Sata Mini jet gun and it is awesome but very expensive. I can get a better gun finish from it than I can my topcoat gun(on small parts).

I used to have two Sata hvlp guns and loved them more than any I had ever used at the time. Unfortunately, they have never been cheap to purchase tough and a good Devilbiss just seemed as comfortable as long as you had one that didn't spit when it got low on paint.

I had a couple of shoulder surgeries in the past and I can't hold up the weight of a spray gun without my hand shaking like crazy these days. A good, small hvlp or jam gun is about all I am good for now days. An air brush, too. That Preval unit works well for the small stuff I do at times.
