starter solinoid
Question, I mounted a starter Solinoid on the firewall with two sheet metal screws. Does it require a clean metal surface for a ground? Thanks Stan

Re: starter solinoid
Normally any (if) needed ground will occur between the screws and the bare metal solenoid case.
After installation check continuity between solenoid case and engine.

Re: starter solinoid
Depends on what solenoid you are using. The original Ford solenoid grounded
through the start button and does not require a grounded base. |

No, it does not.
