Default 35 pickup oil pan removal

Hello,
I am new to the forum. As a matter of fact this is my first time on any forum,so if I'm not doing things correctly please let me know . I'm working on a 1935 pickup that is completely original, with the flat head v8 engine. I want to take the oil pan off to look at the bearings and clean the oil pump screen. Can anyone give me any advice on the process to do this please? Thanks
Mitch

Thanks. I am a recently retired machinist and this is my first time to restore an old vehicle. I have always liked the 35 and 36 pickups. I have actually been able to start the engine and it purrs. I live in the country so I have driven it a little bit on our property. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. I live outside of Bastrop, Texas and we have a veterans day parade every year and I'm hoping to drive her in the parade this year.

I'm mainly a 59a guy and don't have much experience removing a pan on the 35/36 years. On some years/models you have to take the wishbone loose from the rear connector and block it down for clearance. It is just mainly an issue of clearance to drop the pan down. Then positioning the crank to get it off. Hope some early pick-up guys can provide you better information.
