Default What a grand time in french lick

I am now trying to recover from a great week in French Lick Indiana. Tired and sore from all the fun we had!!!
The parts swap was great and the tours were plentiful. Antique shops all over the place. The activities were endless. Plenty to do for all age groups. Molly Lewis kept the kids busy and did a great job. I do not think it could have been better. West Baden Hotel was awesome as it had a huge dome that was beautiful. I did not make it to the casino but i know a lot of pepople enjoyed it also.
Hundreds of Model A's attended and everyone had a great time.
The fine point cars were awsome.
Luckily everyone is OK from the accident and we all thank the lord for that!
A full week of talking Model A's is always fun but those Hoosiers really know how to put on a meet. Thanks to all of them including Bob and Sue Murphy and Rex Hinkle who chaired the event. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Cook who even gave us a tour of their beautiful farm.
How many miles to St Augustine????? San Diego?????
I am almost ready to go..........

Ken,
I agree with you about the meet. We had a great time and was impressed with the organization and planning that went into it. It was also a pleasure to meet you even though we were on the hill above the accident at the time.

We had a wonderful time as well!! There was plenty of Southern Indiana hospitality! Everyone was so friendly and inviting. And getting a Marc of Excellence certainly added to the enjoyment. Because of pulpit commitments, we were unable to stay for the banquet, but were told of our award by phone from dear friends!

I would like to thank all the A Modelers who helped during the week - with the meet; with my car; and with the wonderful fellowship shown.

Looking forward to the next adventure. San Diego!??

PS - Anyone going to AACA in Blacksburg, VA??
