Interesting 1933 Ford V-8 Truck Postcards: Today we have a pair of postcards with one showing this unique truck and trailer unit with the drivers compartment inside. Stop by and let us know anything you might know about it at The Old Motor.

The steering of that vehicle looks interesting.
The driver's seat, steering wheel anyway, must have swivled with the front end. Could it have had some kind of gearing set up ?
How else could it work ?

Wow... just when you think you've seen something strange, something else makes you realize you'll never see it all!

Just hazarding a guess the drivers seat, steering, and controls were attached to the tractor, the bus trailer turned on a large ring (maybe with a gimble mount), aka military tank turret ring.

One of our readers on T.O.M. found this small photo and information that the BC ELECTRIC RAILWAY CO. in Vancouver B.C. had this "1936 Ford Tri-Coach bus." It is a bit more modern and has a vee-windshield but possibly Tri-Coach made both?

A reference was found to the Tri-Coach Bus Company being in Seattle. Can anyone find more info on them?
