Default brakes grabbing

I drove the coupe for first time since middle of March. Light application of brakes going into a curve I noticed a pull to the left, which was new. Then a couple times rolling ton astop and fairly firm application of brakes, I had one wheel lock up and slide. (Only going 5-10mph at time) so..... contaminated linings? Or needing adjustment? Or?

Things have been great otherwise in the 2,000 miles I've driven since I bought it.

Could be damp brakes or rust inside the drums from sitting. Look underneath at the bottoms of the brake backing plates, a leaking brake cylinder may show there. ..B.

Look for brake fluid on a spot on the inside wall of the tires. Usually when the brakes pull to the left it's the right brake. Fluid gets on the right brake linings and
lubricates the linings so they don't grab on the drum. The dry side grabs good and the car turns toward the good side. G.M.

So the first thing to check is the fluid level in the master cylinder. If it is down you probably have a leaking wheel cylinder. If not maybe rust/moisture on the drums. Make a few high speed stops and maybe that will do it. If not you will have to pull the drums for an inspection. Pull the front drums first.

Check the wheel cylinders for goop in the brake fluid. If you use DOT 3, it absorbs moisture and the water likes to rust the inside of the lines and cylinders. If there is rust in a cylinder, the rubber cups do not return fully causing a lock up on that wheel.
