1933 Ford Station wagon / Woodie/Woody
City:
NW
State:
NJ
Price:
$62K
1933 Ford Station Wagon for sale. Recently mechanically refurbished. This vehicle has been nicely maintained throughout its life but needed a little TLC to make it roadworthy. Here’s what has been done to it mechanically:
New gaskets, hoses and belts throughout. All NEW factory wiring. I added directionals and an additional taillight for safety (Tail lights are not factory but I have the single original one that goes with the vehicle). New clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. Rebuilt shocks. Rebuilt brakes (still mechanical) and they work fine. Factory fuel tank has been cleaned professionally and sealed for use with ethanol gas. The entire fuel system has been rebuilt with new lines and new ‘air line’ for the hydroscopic gauge which works like factory. New battery, Professionally restored 97 carb. Generator has been converted to 12 volt. New 12 volt voltage regulator. New Lucas tires and tubes. New Brassworks Radiator (I have the original that goes with the car). Engine is a 1937 Ford with ’34 cast iron heads. EVERYTHING works on this old gal and she goes down the road nicely. I can never get anywhere quickly due to the crowd of people that want to talk about it wherever I park. Body has never been removed from the chassis. Sheet metal is very nice with only the front fenders having some issues. Passenger side is VERY solid but hammered on. And the driver fender is the only part I can find that has been repaired some time in the past. But what you see is all Henry Ford metal. This is NOT a show car, just a funky, functional, FUN driver that has not been abused. Crawl under it and you will not believe how nice it is on the underside! It’s a survivor!!! Wood is original and in very nice condition with a few flaws for an 85 year old vehicle but still very solid. Doors shut with a solid “clunk”!! Previous owner (of 52 years!!!) painted the wood brown, probably due to not wanting to varnish it so often. I have all of the spare tire bracketry and mounts but left them off because I think they detract from the lines of the car. All in very solid condition. Anything removed from the vehicle goes with the vehicle. Grille and bumper were rechromed years ago and are perfect for this vehicle. Super solid and super rare. 1654 originally made and not many, especially in this condition, still exist. Just jump in and enjoy it “as is”. $62K 973-875-9046 Vehicle is located in Northwest NJ.
