I found two 1943 license plate tags yesterday. Pennsylvania did not issue a full metal license plate in 1943 in an effort to conserve metal for the war effort. Put one the plate of the 42. Amazing what is still out there....
Thanks for all the recent posts. Winter is almost over.

I love the details like these '43 license plate tabs! When I go to a car show/cruise, what impresses me the most is the way people show their cars with period correct memorabilia, accessories, pamphlets, accessories, etc. external to the car itself. Even period correct non-automotive things like magazines, picnic baskets, vacation souvenirs, etc. A WWII era vehicle is ripe for WWII wartime memorabilia.

Sometimes you find something really good on Ebay. This was listed as a B6A-9278-A oil pressure sender and the box was labeled as that. Pictures weren't real clear but I noticed the 6V 50# writing on the box. I could also see the wiring connector was not the same as the B6A's (I have a couple of those NOS left). Buy it now was $32. I've been more wrong than that before. Two 50 Lb.
markings on it, I'm 99% sure it's a 48-9278.Had to use a used one when I did the 42 as they've become very scarce. Made my day!
