My Tudor has a lightened flywheel and V-8 pressure plate (three finger) and uses the standard Model A throwout bearing.

The model A release bearing and hub will work the V8 clutch cover. Make sure that the clutch disk hub doesn't bottom against the the flywheel/pilot bearing area. Some disks will after flywheel surfacing and it can cause a lot of problems. Use an old input spline to put the the disk up to the flywheel surface and make sure the disk face fully contacts the flywheel surface with a bit more hub clearance to allow for wear on the friction surfaces.

Use an original type 9-inch clutch cover with flyweights and adjustable fingers if you can. Some of the new 8N tractor 9-inch type clutches are crap so avoid them if possible.

My 2 cents is pay attention who mtn the bearing . I’m not saying ones better then the other but I’ve learned the hard way and there’s lots of labor to replace theses bearings

Is this the correct bearing for a stock single plate clutch?

Also make sure it is mounted the correct direction. Not unkown for someone to put it on backwards.
