48 transmission mount
What is entailed in replacing the transmission mount on a 48? I know the front mounts are dry and hard as is most of the rubber underneath. I would like to cut down on clutch chatter.

Re: 48 transmission mount
Remove the 2 nuts and if you have the stock bolts with the square head push them up and out. Then jack the trans 1 or2" to get the mount out.

Re: 48 transmission mount
Take care to not over-tighten the bolts.
