Neat cars and nice variety!
A lot of Model A owners look like they keep some more 'modern' iron in the fleet for when you need to burn off some aggression  My family has said 'What do we do with your stuff after you are dead?' I say 'I don't care. Set it out in the yard, sell it at auction, get what you can I just don't care anymore! I'm having fun with it while I'm still around you can't put a price on that.' The alternative is sell all your stuff, park the money in a CD or whatever, and wait to die. Naw,,,, that makes no sense

A lot of variety indeed!! My three favorite collector cars are all out of reach financially, so my little collection represents real world alternatives.
1914 Stutz Bearcat - Ford T speedster - close as I can get to my favorite all time car! 1929 Duesenberg Dissapearing top Murphy bodied roadster - 1930 A roadster, top stored away... 1959 MB 300 SL - 1989 MB 560 SL -Signal Red and Palomino, just like the 300 SL would be! Didn't consciously try for this but I realized one day how these cars lined up... I always think it is interesting to see what people have in their collections, so many great cars out there! Nice to see the contrasts and compliments in these various garages. This is a cool thread.

I had a 47 V8 deluxe coupe that we almost never used. It was a semi custom flat head. I'm really a model A guy. I have 6 As. 5 on the road, and 1 being rebuilt.

They are all restored except 1966 Impala SS. It is all original AACA Senior winner with 49000 miles never driven in winter

Tom I spent a day at Harrahs admiring his 1600 cars ,I think there was 7 Duesenbergs When I could have bought this Duesy for $1500 I just got married and my Honey wanted a stove and a bed ect: Well she got her way .But I can say the car might have been wore out by now but I still got my wife . I like the ones that I have . Another one I wanted was T Ford that was in the Ford garage in Sratford Ont When my cousin bought the garage .It had a door on the right side in the center .The driver had to crawl out across the car to get out .My Uncle drove it for some years after the war as it was hard to get tires for cars ,

I bought my retirement project two years ago a 57 Ford Country Sedan station wagon that I am getting on the road. Then the A goes down for a full frame off resto.

I just sold a 64 and 66 vette. In the garage is a 31 deluxe roadster that has the original engine matching the frame and a 36 Phaeton along with a 2011 GS Vette. Getting ready to bring down from Tn. my lowley 29 4Dr sedan that I bought in 1966 my senior year in college. Will get a body off restoration and still looking for a rpu project.

But, up until July; 1918 Studebaker EG sold new by my grandfather and brought back for trade during depression. He just kept it. 1948 Ford coupe with Hemi blower motor, built by me when 15 1931 Ford roadster |
