Here are photos starting at the brake pedal: The rod is adjustable at the pedal. This actuates a main rod inside the crossmember. The main rod has a fork on it that holds the midle of a dog bone (a ball joint is in the middle) The dog bone is the equalizer that actuates the two brake rods. These are anchored at the inner end by ball joints moulded into the rear of the transmission.

Hey there Charlie, I'm not sure if I included the photo of the left hand side arm coming out of the transmission ball joint cup before but here is one. Also some handbrake photos. I'm sorry they're not better but, as I said, there are some photos of the equalizer system rods on another thread about early brakes. Cheers - Ed

Re previous posts regarding Australian RHD's & Charlies RHD in Argentina.
Australia used Canadian RHD chassis whereas Sth America received USA RHD vehicles.
There would probably be time differences in production changes between the two sources. Also, Australia was a manufacturing setup & may well have carried on using early componants due to low production & market dictates, eg. Australia continued using '28 '29 style AAC [Canadian heavy chassis] trucks thru to 1932.
