1939 Tonner brakes?
I have a newly acquired 1939 1 ton truck. The wheel cylinders are leaking and the soft lines are all dry rotted so it's time for a complete overhaul. I cannot seem to find any info that says whether the parts are the same as on the rest of the 39 lineup? Any resources that confirm whether the 1/2 ton parts are the same?

Re: 1939 Tonner brakes?
The 1938 - 1946 parts book lists the front wheel cylinders as a 91A part number so same half ton or car, the rear uses a 92Y-2192 wheel cylinder which is 1 3/8" bore.
I'd check with James at Gotham City Parts or Fred at Southside Obsolete for parts. Good luck,Paul J. |

Chuck's Trucks is another good source to check with.
