Default 6 or 12 volt clock conversion to quartz

Any tips on who converts the clock in my '49 Ford to quartz? Right now it's still a 6 volt clock but works OK on 12 volts occasionally but stops every now and then.

Williamson's converted the clock in my '54 Ranch Wagon to 12 volt quartz. Nice job and much cheaper than other quotes I received. Took a while but they kept me in the loop the entire time. When they shipped the clock and charged my credit card they mistakenly failed to credit the initial deposit I paid. As soon as they realized their error they called me directly to explain and tell me they had corrected the billing and issued a credit to my card. Excellent customer service IMO.

I uses Williamson's for two clocks. The first was done 20 years ago and it still tells perfect time . The same with my 56 clock, done about 15 years ago. I;m running 12V on the 54.

At the time they were done, they were the least expensive of the people I looked into .

I bought a quartz clock at a craft store for our '41. rigged up an adapter so I could relocate the battery where I could access it. Took some tinkering but worked fine.

D&M Restoration, Greenville NC. Very well known. Excellent company. They'll resto anything; did my '68 Mustang am fm, and installed an accessory plug for any accessory; (now the first push button turns my accessory on and off. Excellent people. Can't say enough about them. They have a 'Ford man' that does anything and everything Ford.
