Default 35 Ford Apple Green Paint Formula

I'm going to paint my 35 convertible sedan wire wheels Apple Green. Does anyone have the paint formula for that? I'm going to use PPG Single Stage Concept Urethane.

In addition to the needed formula how much paint is needed to paint the five wheels?

It would be cheaper to powder coat them. There's a wide variety of powder colors.

Make sure you paint them medium apple green, not bright apple green.

I will second the suggestion to powder coat the wheels. Any good powder coating company will sand blast/strip and prep the wheels before they powder coat them.
The myth that tires will slip on a powder coated wheel is not true, I have used powder coated wheels for over twenty years with no problems.

Crickets..........Peter, my wheels were done in a variation of apple green. When you get to that point I would be interested in getting a color card from you that our DuPont store can match to.
or
Does anyone have the correct Medium Apple Green? If so maybe we can work together to re create a code via color matching.

Just a comment . . . years ago, I had my Model A wheels professionally painted. When I lug-nut tightened the first wheel . . . surprise! the paint-coated lug nut hole area peeled off upon turning contact!!!!!! So "forewarned is forearmed" . . . you know how to proceed to prevent! (bummer!)

I always grind down the area where the lug nut shoulder seats against the wheel. This is especially true for powder-coated wheels. If you don't it'll crack, and leave you with a bunch of loose nuts.
