I am looking for the starter cover that goes over the starter drive gear, the cover goes into a hole that is part of the back of the block casting of a 59AB, 47 Ford. Looks kind of like a rattle can cover with a lip on it.
My belief is that it aids in guard from rocks and dirt.

Thanks for the correction, does anyone have that cover for the oil pan?

had to make one, got some measurements and went to muffler shop and they rolled a short lip in a pipe and then went home and welded a flat piece on end and pressed into hole
