Default 1933 Cabriolet pivot bolts

Looking for the shoulder bolts and nuts that attach the nickel plated bar that connects the convertible top to the door pillar.

The bolt is at the door pillar and attaches the bar to an elongated slot.

I believe the part numbers are:

Bolt: 40-764864
Nut: 40-764862

If you know where I can get a pair or an accurate sketch or drawing with the dimensions I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Don

The nut is also serrated on the back face to grip to the pillar.

Thanks, that's helpful if I have to have one made.

Any thoughts on someone who has a pair?

Do you have the original top pivot bolts for the steel header.
I need a pattern for a pair or someone to accurately measure the same.
Also were washers used with these bolts?
Thanks

I believe these Dim to be correct:
3/4" Hex X 0.200" thick, sharp corners, slight chamfer on the head
0.500" Dia. X 0.185" long shoulder
OAL= 1.00"
3/8-24 thread with an undercut so the nut screw all the way to the shoulder.
They may be reproduced and being sold here on Fordbarn.com check the for sale ads.

I have four NOS bolts that look similar. 15/16” hex head, 3/8” NC , 1 1/2” over all length. .621” shoulder diameter, .300” wide shoulder. Any idea what they are for?

My top frame is all rivets. It’s bolted at the door pillars and behind the seat

I stand corrected, there are top bolts in the 1933 Cabriolet convertible top.

I'll post a picture (f I can figure that out) and there is a washer between the bow and the frame.

Shoulder bolt:

Hex head 5/8 x .160 thick
Shoulder 3/8 diameter x .450 long
Thread is 1/4 28 x .290 long
.900 Overall length

Washer is .065 thick 3/4 OD .395 ID

With respect, the top irons were chrome plated originally, not nickel plated.

Thanks for the dimensions.
Some questions still.
Is the washer steel or brass like between the hood irons where the rivets are?
What is the finish on the bolt?
Does this bolt also hold the small bracket that is shown on page7-15 of the 33/34 restoration manual?

The bolt head is chrome plated the washer is steel.

We may be talking 2 different parts here. The bolt I'm talking about goes in the top of the convertible frame and attaches the top bow to the convertible frame.

What I see on page 7-15 is hood and cowl details.

Sorry my fault a typo error.
The page I meant was 7-45 top rh corner.
Also any chance of a dimension across the width of the steel bow just to check that my one is not out of shape inside to inside (or outside to outside) at the bolt pivot point would be great.
Thanks for the other dimensions I should be able to manufacture a couple of bolts with those measurements.
