Re: 1370 mille A update.
Wow, ten year anniversary. Did you ever get it running?

Car has been left in the found condition. The
Gibbs oil is still doing its job of preserving everything. I may shoot a video of the car for YouTube one day. |

I miss seeing Toms responses to the threads. He had a lot of insight.

Re: 1370 mille A update.
Is this the car that was found in Washington, DC? I seem to recall that. Please share the back story for those of us who may not know.

Re: 1370 mille A update.
Yes this is the car from Washington DC. Parked in 1938 under a row house. Water got to the front end, rotted the frame. Steering column was missing and the torque tube.
Pin stripes are very nice, transmission is on a stand now, unbelievable how it clicks into gear. When we look at items such as clutch, starter, brakes, they look brand new. Amazing piece of history. |

Re: 1370 mille A update.
Holy moly...
I was talking to Mark Maron at Model A Days last weekend about the car he bought from Don Bevins. Not sure of the mileage, but maybe around 2,000? I asked if it was the lowest mileage Model A in existence? He said he didn't know, but if my recollection is good, your would beat his.
