Chevy trans
I know this is the wrong place to ask this question, BUT! I don't know where the Chevy barn is.
A friend of mine bought a nice 41 chevy two DR with a blown engine, He can get a 75 chevy 6cyl. But I think the bellhousings and trans is different??? Helping a friend. Gramps |

Bell and trans are definitely different. Almost everything else about the engine is different too. Lots of changing to make things work-but if he's ambitious of course it can be done.

41 closed driveshaft? if so a lot of work to connect the two.
