Heavy duty CLEAR oil...
Would anyone know of a Heavy Duty type oil that is clear like water that does not have that goldish color to it as a lot of oils have?
Thanks. Pluck |

Re: Heavy duty CLEAR oil...
The last time I added hydraulic oil to my AC WD it was clear, but that's the only clear oil I can think of.

Re: Heavy duty CLEAR oil...
Food grade or Medical grade Mineral oil (avail @ drug store) is very clear, and much heavier than 3in1 type oil.

Re: Heavy duty CLEAR oil...
I may be remembering wrong but I think when I changed the oil in the transmission in my previous truck it had clear in it. I believe it used Castrol Syntorque 85-90W or something along those lines. I know for a fact it was Castrol Syntorque just unsure of the exact weight.
This is going back a few years for me so I may be wrong. Cost me $22 a quart at the dealer and many warned me not to use anything else in the NV-4500 trans I had. |
