North Dakota Gold My office girl pushed the enter button before I could tell her what to type. My buddy is working the oil fields, he was taking a pickup load of aluminum beer cans to the recycler when he stumbled over this pile. No. the old guy said "none of it was for sale!" Rich

Geez,I work in North Dakota ,live in Minn. on the Border.I can tell you, this is not a common occurance. This looks more like something you would see in California.Frank

Don't know about all that. I know of a fellow who has his fathers scot blower off his mercury just sitting under the shop bench

Ok guys now that I got everyones attention, it is a late April fools joke. Yes this picture is about 20 years old. A buddy has an extensive collection of flathead speed equipment, he was moving to a new garage and just piled everything up outside . The guy that took the picture back in the day, sent it to Street Rodder magazine, and said that on a business trip to South America, he happened on a foundry that cast aluminum electric meter boxes, and this is what they were making them out of. I guess the magazine believed the story, as they printed it along with the picture in the next issue. I am sure a lot of flathead lovers had a few sleepless nights over that story! Rich
