Got mine yesterday. Great article on the restoration of a Roadster, A Henry Award and MARC of excellence.

Steve Plucker, your website is AMAZING!!!....... what a great amount of research and background work you have done.....do you have anything on the development of the oil pan ? I am trying to decipher if mine is an early '28 version. The drain plug is centered in a separate round plate with 6 small bolts. Can anyone shed some light.

I guess this is another example of the rating system? 4 stars for a thread on whether your magazine arrived?

Out of curiosity, who rates these and decides the number of stars?
Thanks

Anyone can, just scroll to the top of the thread and see the rating, click on it and find the stars you want to give it.

Hope I get a star for answering this.

No one had rated this thread until I posted and then along came the One Star Idiot and ranked the thread 'one star'. Then someone else came along and countered the One Star Idiot with a full five stars which brought the rating up to three stars and then another came along and also rated the thread five stars which brought it up to a four star rating.

The moral of this story is, if you don't want your thread given a one star rating, regardless how important, on topic and very informative it is,
tell me to stay the hell off the thread and not comment. The One Star Idiot follows me around like a little lost puppy. This rating system is as useless as a tits on a boar hog. I myself have yet to rate this thread.

I'm gonna monitor the rating system for a couple of days. If there is, in fact, someone rating everything with one-star, he will be banned.
