If someone could help with these Hinges for the trunk lid. It looks like the top hole is for the pin on the trunk lid. This hinge has pin in the center. What Am I missing? None of the holes are counter sunk.trunk lid.jpg

The bracket in your third picture attaches to the side of the trunk opening on the body. The hinge pin is screwed in from the inside (head facing towards the outside of trunk) and into the lower hole of the trunk lid in your first picture. The countersunk holes should be in the new bracket that you have as the screws should have flat heads. It will take several attempts to get the adjustments correct for the trunk lid to fit.

Thanks for the info. Nothing is countersunk. But that can be handled. What threw me off was the center screw but I think you have me on the right trackThanks.

Go to the Brattons web site and look at "trunk lid parts" then open up hinges.
Their drawing will show you each piece in relation to the other and also how
the entire assembly would look as if it were mounted in your car & trunk lid.
You'll be on your way , once you study this a few moments.
