Default OH 6 Cyl Engine Identification

I purchased a 6 cyl overhead engine and was told i was a 1954 F100 pickup engine. I cannot determine if this is true.

Markings on the engine are:
NK72
F 5RR8
EAA - 615 - B

Any assistance would be appreciated! Thanks in advance for the help!

TQ

Passenger cars and F100 truck six cylinders shared the same block. A '54 F100 should have a 223 six cylinder in it. I sold a '52 car 215 six cylinder and the block was the same as yours (EAA-B). I'm not sure if the 223 used the same block number.
