Does anyone have a picture of an installed brake return spring on a 39 ford? I did a search and read what was posted but mine didn't have one when I got it so I am at a loss.

The Early V8 catalog shows 37-38 and 40-47 but no 39

Gary, I am thinking you need a photo of the brake shoes with the drums off? I can shoot you a pick of mine, let me know. That is the only area I remember seeing any springs. 39's first year for hydraulics eliminating some springs.

Looking @ my pre-disassembly photos did not see anything in the brake area's that your talking about (pedal return spring)? I did not have anything there.
