Default Bending the front axle

Does anyone know if you can bend the front axle? My left front tire leans inward about !/2 inch.

Yes. Bend cold. You are going to need some big force. Use the gauge rods that mount in the four holes. See "Adding Caster to the Axel" https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showt...ster&showall=1

To a truck repair workshop, bending a Model A axle is like breaking a pretzel.

Are you sure that it's the axle? I had a similar problem where it was the spindle.

Not only the spindle, but also the king pin or a combination of both. I would certainly
check those out before pulling the axle.

I once had a '72 Ford Econoline Van with the "Twin I-Beam" front suspnsion. I took it in for alignment and they chained the axle to the rack and bent the axle using a large bottle jack.

Maybe they could do the same for you with the axle still in the car?
