Default 33/34 rumble lid interior

For the rumble lid assembly
The inside cavity between the inside of exterior rumble panel and the interior reinforce panel the rumble spring hangs on … is that sprayed with the sound deafening lumpy material … or simply panted body color??? That's the area you access via the big holes in the reinforce panel.

Thank you

No sound deadening material was used inside the rumble lids of the six '33-'34 roadsters I've owned, only body color paint.
